Solutions to enhance effectiveness of waste management in construction sector
Abstract
Construction industry contributes a large portion of waste to environment. Effective management of construction related waste is crucial to achieve the goal of national sustainable development. This paper presents a literature review of existing waste management strategies, carries out analysis of data collected from interviews with experts to identify barriers, and as a result, it suggests several solutions to improve effectiveness of waste management in the specific context of Vietnamese construction industry.
