Reviewing the major trends in the research and development and adoption of BIM at Institute of Invesment and Construction Management - NUCE
Abstract
Building Information Modelling (BIM) is a major innovation in the architecture, engineering and construction industry. Although officially being given birth in the world since the beginning of the 21st century, BIM has been first introduced in Vietnam in recent years in a number of scientific research institutions and a few foreign companies investing in Vietnam. The paper presents a number of trends in the BIM R&D and adoption at Institute of Invesment and Construction Management in design and construction management, cost estimation, facilities management, information collection and others.
