Crack detection of the multiple cracked plane frame structures by using stationary wavelet transform of dynamic responses
Abstract
The present article deals with new results of the crack detection of the multiple cracked plane structures such as continuous beams, plane frames based on the stationary wavelet transforms of dynamic responses. The dynamic responses are obtained from the dynamic stiffness method for modeling framed structure damaged to multiple cracks represented by equivalent springs. The theoretical development was illustrated and validated by numerical examples.
Keywords: Cracks; dynamic responses; wavelet; dynamic stiffness.
