The slope stability is often analyzied by two-dimentional (2D) method. There are cases, however, where a 2D analysis leads to insurficient performance of soil, affected factors to three-dimentional (3D) cases. This research present a 3D analysis for straight slope by means of limit equilibrium analysis. Based on moment equilibrium mechanism, a computer code was written to determine 3D slope stability. The result of analysis shows that the stability number of 3D is 20% higher than that of 2D.
