Study on construction methodology, inspection and acceptance of the unitized glass curtain wall in high rise buildings in Vietnam
Abstract
Glass curtain wall has been used more and more in high-rise buildings in our country with various forms and types. Asadvanced construction technology has increasingly been applied by contractors. Appearing issues is how to construct high-rise builidings of unilized glass curtain wall’s manufacture process, erection and testing process that could enhance the quality of work, reduce construction time and improve construction safety. The study is based on Vietnamese famous constractors’ glass curtain wall of modular assembly method, combined with the national standards of the United States and China. Thus, process and techniques of construction, testing of high-rise building glass curtain walls which are made by modular assembly method would be proposed.
