Journal of Science and Technology in Civil Engineering (JSTCE), published by Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE), was established on 17^th February 2007 under Press License No. 18/GP-BVHTT issued by the Ministry of Culture and Information (now the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism) with four issues annually in Vietnamese. In accordance with the amended License No. 299/GP-BTTTT dated 6^th June 2016, JSTCE was later permitted to publish five issues annually in Vietnamese and one issue in English.

Following continued development, Document No. 76/BTTTT-CBC dated 12^th January 2018 permitted JSTCE to publish five issues annually in Vietnamese and three issues in English. Since 12^th April 2023, JSTCE has been licensed under Print and Electronic Journal License No. 118/GP-BTTTT to publish eight issues per year, four in Vietnamese and four in English.

The English version of JSTCE is published under p-ISSN 1859-2996 and e-ISSN 2734-9268.

In pursuit of international standards, JSTCE is committed to enhancing the quality of its publications and improving its online editorial and peer-review systems. JSTCE aims to serve as a respected forum for researchers worldwide to disseminate new scientific findings that advance academic research and professional practice. Continued contributions from both domestic and international scholars are essential for JSTCE to further strengthen its academic reputation and progress toward deeper global integration.
